Great old comedy
Filmed in 1966, this comedy may be a little dated, but funny is funny. It was produced by Blake Edwards, with the screenplay written by William Peter Blatty. The cast of characters is stellar, with James Coburn, Dick Shawn, Aldo Ray, Harry Morgan and an almost unrecognizable Carrol O'Connor. This movie is a slightly ridiculous story about an American Army unit capturing an Italian town during World War II. The manner in which they go about achieving their goal is what makes the movie so funny. It's well worth watching.
