Did I Shave My Legs For This? by Deana Carter (CD, Sep-1996, Capitol Nashville Records)

This is deffently one of the Best CD's I own. I can listen to it anytime. This CD will get you feeling good if your down and out. The songs are great and her voice is wonderful. The Whole CD just flows together nicely. If you're looking for somthing that is really easy to listen to this is for you.

Deana has one of the most unique female voices in country music. She doesn't have to scream at you to make you listen. Her voice is sweet and pure and so is the music on this album. We've all heard "Strawberry Wine", which still gets regular play time on the radio, but there are several songs on this album worth a listen. After "Strawberry Wine" my second favorite is "We Danced Anyway". It doesn't fit the standard country music subjects of love, love-gone-wrong, trucks, trains, mamas, prison and gettin' drunk. I recommend this CD along with her album I'm Just A Girl.

I bought a copy of this cd when it first came out. I loved it. It was always a cd I brought with me to listen to on long trips in the car. Someone took it from the case and never returned it. I was recently going through my cds and seeing the case reminded me I didn't have it anymore. I decided to check ebay as the local music stores no longer carried a copy. I found a copy for 1 cent. I bid the 1 cent. and won. I paid $2.99 for shipping. I saved a lot of money buying from ebay vice ordering a new copy from another web site. The copy arrived quickly and played great, no scratches. I'm very pleased with the purchase and am happy I now have a copy back in the case. This is a really good cd.

I purchased this CD just for two songs on it but once I received it I recognized other songs on it that I did not know Deanna Carter performed and there were also other songs on the disc that I have never heard but liked very much. Over all I really like and enjoy this CD and highly recommend it to anyone that is a Country Music fan.

I bought this CD because it brings back memories of when it first came out. It is a different style than I now like, but because I have found memories of this time in my life, I still love it.

Worth the buy just for this song. Takes ya back; should have been in Hope Floats! She has a great voice.

Love the CD! Very catchy songs that I find myself singing for hours. Strawberry Wine is a great classic!!! Absolutely great!!! I loved the CD when I first heard it almost 10 years ago and finally just purchased it and am still in love with the songs!

I mostly bought this one because I had won some CDs from a seller who offered a great s&h deal for additional CDs won. When I read the list of songs, I only recognized 2 songs. To my surprise, this CD actually contains a number of familiar songs that're really good. It had just been so long since hearing anything from Deana that I had forgotten just how truly good her music is. I would recommend this CD to anyone looking for a fun, uplifting CD.
