Another "Great"ful Dead recording!

There are some excellent presentations of the Dead's repertoire on this one. From the rocking opening track, Bertha, to a satisfied trip down memory lane with Sugar Magnolia, this one is sure to satisfy. I bought it mostly for renditions of Cosmic Charlie and Mississippi Half-Step, but the whole disc is killer, and that's just the first of the two shows on this album! The second one opens with an involved Cold Rain & Snow, dropping a few gems such as Candyman, The Wheel, and Samson & Delilah along the way. Comes A Time is probably one of the best renditions I've ever heard the Dead deliver and I've heard many! The second set begins by blasting you off into the stratosphere with Playing In The Band before taking you on a long, smooth ride through the cosmos before eventually bringing you back down to earth with... you guessed it... Playing In The Band. Then, just to give you another mule kick, they deliver a blistering hot version of Johnny B. Goode for an encore. This album is a must have for any serious deadhead. Trust me, you won't regret buying it!
