Diana Style by Colin McDowell

A nice overall pictorial showing Princess Diana as her style evolved over the years, both before (and mostly after) her spectacular July, 1981 marriage to Prince Charles. We even see how the Prince's tastes were influenced by his modern, fashion-savvy wife. We notice her evolution from buttoned-up primrose to full-flowered Queen of Style. The pictures are great, but the commentary is not as detailed as I'd like. We can see Diana over the years, but in many instances, important dates are not appended to the pictures. The commentary on hairstyle changes is not new, but it is concise. A great book for an overall time-lapse Portrait, but not too deeply analyzed. Some of the pictures are not often seen in other books about The Princess, so that is a plus.
