Diana by Jayne Fincher, Judy Wade (1998, Hardcover)

I've enjoyed browing through this book almost daily. It's definitely a conversation piece, and it seems that everyone who see it wants to talk about it or review the content. It's such a lovely publication. Would highly recommend.

an exquisite tribute to a woman who carried the hearts of the world in the palm of her hand. Compassionate, kind, eternally elegant and enthusiastic. Her prediction came true as she verbally expressed to millions of us around the world, she wanted to be QUEEN OF PEOPLE'S HEARTS. That became true and remains strong and forever.
Diana will always be my mentor, out of her pain and suffering came a genuine heart who sincerely reached out to others less fortunate than herself. Not stuffy or distant as the Royals are educated but became a breathe of fresh air and a genuine gentle spirt who reigns forever in my heart. This is why I always have her pictures, DVD's and books, only the genuine material that depicts ethical values that Diana had. I will love and respect her forever.

I bought this book because I like to make doll clothes for the Franklin Mint portrait dolls. Another reviewer had mentioned that she found this book helpful for the doll couture that she made so I bought it too. There are LOTS of color pictures and interesting information on the life, times and travels of Princess Diana. I am not a sentimental fanatic over the Princess like so many people seem to be but this book made me more of a sympathizer if not a "true believer". If you loved Diana you will love this book. If you are just curious you will also enjoy it.
