Without a doubt Rodney Crowell's best album of all time, at least statisticly. This ablum charted five number-one hits for Rodney and earned him country music artist of the year. This album includes hits such as; "Above & Beyond" a remake of a Buck Owens song, "Such a Small World" featuring Roseanne Cash, and the classic "After All This Time." This remastered version of Diamonds and Dirt also includes three unreleased songs.
If you have never heard of Rodney Crowell before I strongly recommend this album as it will no doubt lead you to the rest of his albums. Rodney Crowell is, in my opinion, the best song-writer/musician alive for country, blues, and rock fans alike.
