Diamond Spur by Diana Palmer, Susan Kyle (2002, Paperback, Reprint)

Diana Palmer really knows how to pack a punch on the emotions in this book. She has very strong characters in Jason Donavan as usual, but Kate is no shrinking violet either. Jason has definitely met his match when it comes to Kate. Both have fears and apprehension about each other, and their lives, that they are unsure they can overcome. Jason's stubborn about it, Kate's just determined.

Jason does all he can short of murder to save Diamond Spur to make it a solvent ranch again, and Kate is determined to get her designs off the ground and make a name for herself in the world. He's been burned before with women who want their careers before marriage and he can't quite get over that with Kate. But Kate feels she can balance both a family and career and will do anything to prove Jason wrong. Trust is hard on both ends, and just when things start coming together for them both, her career & his guilt costs them both dearly. Will these 2 ever get passed their own determinations and frustrations to make it work between them?

This compelling story unlike a lot of Diana Palmer books, is one you'll never tire of reading. It's definitely one when you start reading it, you won't want to put it down.

It's heartfelt, and at times very entertaining, and could even make you blink back the tears with some of the scenario's that come to light. I hope you find this review very helpful, and enjoy this book as much as I did.

I am a fan of Diana Palmer and needed this book to add to my collection. It was in a price range I could afford. The only problem I have is trying to find Diand's older books. And if I do find them a decent price is paramont.

I haven't found a bad thing about Diana Palmer books. She is an awesome writer with things that focus on real life. She makes you want to read and read. Jason and Kate keep you in suspense on what will happen next. Men have alot of pride and sometimes can't see what, or don't know how to act because of it. So women do too. It is a very well written book and I am working on collecting all of her works.
