THIS SET IS AWESOME. IT WAS EVEN BETTER THAN THE FIRST SEASON. YOU WILL LOVE IT. I BOUGHT IT BECAUSE I HAD SEEN THE FIRST SEASON AND COULDN'T WAIT TO SEE THIS SEASON ALSO.

Picking up immediately where the first left off, this season is infused with ever increasing tension as Dexter's carefully constructed world begins to fall apart. As things get steadily worse for our favorite sociopathic killer the strain begins to wear on his 'dark passenger' allowing us viewers to see glimpses of humanity through the cracks while Dexter himself gets a well needed dose of character development that expertly avoids shattering the very human inhumanity that makes him so very intriguing.

I highly reccomend it. If you liked the first season the second season is an absolute must see.

I liked the first season so much I thought the second wouldn't be able to keep up with it and the first night I got it...I watched 3 episodes (I would have watched more...but had to get up to work the next morning)

My boyfriend had asked me if I had watched Dexter yet. Found out it was on Showtime, and because I'm a valued customer at DirecTv, I got it free. I missed the first few episodes, so I bought Season 1&2.Totally addicted to this show. Loved Jimmy Smits, second season as good as the first. Can't wait for the 3rd season. Of course, you all know that Dexter and the gal who plays his sister actually got married. There is absolutely nothing I dislike about this series. Best show on Showtime!!!!!

Dexter is a good bad guy and easy to like. All actors do a great job and I must warn you, this series is contagious. You will add it to your list of must see series once you have viewed seasons one and two.

My family is a huge fan of Dexter-my younger son who is 15 just started watching it and had missed the 1st 2 seasons-his older brother gave him season 1 for Christmas and I got him season 2 for Valentines day! It is now one of his favorite shows and we cannot wait until season four.

I really enjoyed this series on television.. After purchasing season one, my granddaughter-in-law watched it. Now we are watching season two together. I decided to buy it because we already have season one and just loved it and now we are thoroughly enjoying season two. Dexter ROCKS!!!!

Dexter is AWESOME! It is a very addictive show! Some of the things aren't realalisct but still rifiting. Once you start watching it's hard to stop. Your always wanting to know what he'll do next or who'll be next!?! Michael Hall is a good actor and he fits the part. It only gets better with each season.

The second season of Dexter was even better than the 1st. Characters were better and their motivations and shortcomings were exposed. I really liked the fact that the killings (even though deserved) were more muted and made viewers think just a little more about what was going on. I am anxiously looking forward to the 3rd season!

Love it! So funny. The second season is funnier than the first season. I am waiting until I have seen all of 2nd season to see 3rd season.

My wife and I first became Dexter fans when CBS began running edited episodes of the show during the writers' strike. We waited each week for the next episode, and after we had seen the entirety of Season 1, we realized we were hooked.

Dexter is dark, bloody,profane, touching, and funny, often all at the same time, as well as wildly entertaining.

The only thing we don't like is waiting for Season 3 to become available on DVD (yeah, we could subscribe to Showtime but we are really not interested in most of their other offerings).

We love Dexter -- we watched a marathon, back to back episodes of Seasons 1 and 2. What's great is you get to watch them in sequence, without missing a single episode, which helps to keep the storyline straight in your head. It allows you to become more submersed in the storyline and more in tune with the characters. Dexter is so complex; it's fascinating to watch him become more human - more conflicted - and finding himself with more and more to lose if he is caught. Only Michael C Hall could make a serial killer so loveable.

Keeps, you wondering what will happen. I normally don't like these type of shows , but this will keep you laughing. You want this guy to kill, since he only kills criminals. It has a warped type of humor. Like, I said I don't like bloody type shows, but I do Dexter. Can't wait for the 3rd season to be released.

Great series! Although it's a little on the dark side, Dexter is a character that you can't help but cheer for. The DVD came as described and I would not hesitate to use this seller again!

I bought this set because ABC was only allowed to run Dexter during the writers strike, Now they won't sell the second and third season. This show is so darkly satisfying to the silent vigilante in every one yet it shows how even criminals have a small good part in them that you wish would rise to the top, But sadly like in Dexter they are 92% recidivists and the intolerant bad side of us would love to just solve the problem for all society, but the little Angel in the right ear keeps whispering, "Don't be a Murderer! vengeance is mine saith the lord. Yea, Yea! Ok! I'll just watch the show. The social inter action and issues between Dexter and his sister and girl friends is also great! It is full of social dilemma and enlightenment.

The DVD's are perfect quality they look like HD on my upconverting DVD player and HD TV.
I highly recommend this set!

A little different kind of drama this season, but excellent still the same. I loved the romantic element, and the build-up of the Lunde/Dexter chase. Season finale tied up all the loose ends, but lacked that 1-2 punch feeling that I was looking for.

This series will blow you away....it is so wonderful to root for the bad guy when he's trying so hard to be a good guy....The second season was even better than the first and am counting the days until the third season starts....

The second season takes us even further into the world of Dexter, the Avenging serial killer. In this one he has a whole NEW set of troubles and goals that, not to give anything away, keeps the series alive and fresh. Not just twists out of the blue, either, but a well thought-out plot and superb writing makes the twists acceptable and surprising. I'm sure if you liked or loved the first season, this season will completely seal the deal with you.
