Dewalt DC515K Handheld Cleaner

I really enjoy every aspect of this vacuum. I enjoyed buying this off of ebay, and giving it to my boyfriend for Christmas. I love using it to vacuum out my car and any little thing that i find around his house. I love it! =] Its very convenient and functional. I would highly recommend! =]-Liz

I needed a good home "dust buster", and one that will last. I'm tired of buying other ones and they wear out within a year or so. This one works great. Lots of suction. It is a little loud, but sounds like a Vacuum. It is a little bigger and heavier than home dust busters. The filter on it works really great. It's super easy to clean, and it doesn't blow dust out when you start the vacuum. Also, the holding tank is easy to remove and clean also. I also really like that the hose can be removed for hard to get places. I think it's a great vacuum for the shop or the house, which is what I use it for.

The first thing I noticed is that this one is very very noisy. It literally howls. I have several large ShopVacs that have 10 times more suction that are quieter. Don't know if this is true of all DC515K's. I bought mine used, it looked new open box, on e-bay and it may be the reason that it was re-sold.Its been my experience that vacuum's get noisy when the bearings go at old age.I hope this isn't an indication of this one being short lived?? It does have good suction, is easy to empty and has pretty good balance used with one hand. Used mostly around the fireplace but is very handy any time small jobs don't require dragging out a big vacuum. Overall, pretty well satisified since I paid half of new price. I would be much less happy with it if I had paid $100+ retail. I run Li-ions and get about 10 minutes run time between chargings.

I bought the Shop-vac a few weeks ago and I have been happy with it since then. It was a good deal and I received quick delivery with no problems.
