Dewalt DC500 Canister Cleaner

This is one cool little vacuum. I caught one on clearance at Lowes for $30 so I could not pass it up. Although the canister is fairly small, it will hold more than you think. I have used it in wet & dry applications & it works great in both.

If you own other Dewalt 18V cordless tools this is definitely a good addition if you can get one at a good price. For quick pick –ups or spills it comes in real handy. I can use it on my shop floor about 10 times before recharging or replacing the battery, so non-continuously it runs for about an hour & a half. Non-stop I would say probably 45 minutes. It also comes with a power cord so it can be plugged in but it does not charge the battery in the process.

I have not used it since I have a backpack blower, but the hose can be reversed for this to be used as a blower. The washable filter (with water) is quite durable. I have cleaned it several times & it still traps dust like a champ.

The only downside is it would be nice to have more accessories, like an extended hose & pole extension so you would not have to bend over to use it. Other than that I have no complaints & would recommend it to anyone.

item as described - super fast shipping, would buy from again. needed a corded/cordless vacuum cleaner because some houses do not have electricity on
