i needed a heavy duty drill and already had a dewalt radio. so now i have this drill the radio and a new dewalt drill bit kit. i like dewalt tools. and i got it for a very good price.

I am a builder/ remodeler and this is one of my most used tools. I had two of these (similar models) already, one is 6-7 years old the other is about two years old- both still work great. This one I purchased for my Dad for fathers day. He loves it. It has plenty of power for it's size. Paired with the 14.4 impact driver it's awesome. Pre-drill with the drill and screw with the impact driver. Batteries last 2-3 years before they get weak. I use all Dewalt 14.4 tools and rarely have a problem with power. I dislike the 18 V line of tools because they are just too heavy, too big and don't seem to be that much stronger. Dewalt 14.4 all the way!
