As a saxophone player of approximately 50 years, both amateur and professional, big bands and combos, I was amazed at what I didn't know! Mr. Segell's research was amazing. He brought to life many of the inventors', inovators' and giants of the saxophone in a way that it would have been impossible for the average musician, or layman, to know and appreciate.
I highly recommend this book for anyone wanting to really know what this horn is about.
