The Devil Wears Prada by Lauren Weisberger (2006, Paperback)

Reading this book made me feel tired for the main character, Andy. If this is anything close to what the author did as her internship for Vogue, then how did she make it? It reminded me of my first job out of college, and makes me thankful for what I had for a boss in comparison!

The language was a little off-putting, but overall, I liked it.

I bought this because I wanted to read it before seeing the movie. Initially, I had trouble keeping everything straight. Then, I figured out the characters and I couldn't put the book down! Miranda was so well described I felt like I could see her. I felt the anxiety of Andy in her hellish first job, and cringed or cheered her decisions. I want to see the movie now to see how accurately the book was portrayed!

I saw the movie and wanted to read the book. The book was a lighthearted story and was an enjoyable read. I would recommend it to anyone who enjoys the fashion world and a good comic story.

Love it! Although i was expecting a little more from it i still thought it was a great read and would love to read more from the author!

Too much vulgar language, a lot of the "F" word. The whole topic matter was pretty superficial, but ended on a high note. If it wasn't for all the swearing I would recommend it for a one timer, but I won't since there really is a lot of unnecessary offensive language.

I simply love my purchase and will recommend my friends to buy from ebay. I liked the fact that the item arrived in perfect condition.

Honestly, i purchased it thinking it was the DVD and when i recieved it, it was a softcover book?? I tried to re sell it and no bids were placed on the item.

This was good however painful to read. It was hard to believe that anyone would put up with what the main character did in this book for so long! I was happy that she finally did end the torture but it took her to long to tell her boss off.
