This book is excellent for a Human Development class. I would recommend buying this edition instead of the 4th because they are almost the same. Book isn't too biased but is not certainly objective. Additionally I would recommend buying this book at the cheapest price (good, acceptable) since you are getting nothing extra for buying more expensive ones.

It is really a bad book-buying experience. The book was intended for the summer course in August, but I still did not get it until now. It caused so much trouble when I needed the book but the book was not there. The experience is so awful!!!

The book was almost new there were no highlights and the book was in good condition. The delivery time was appropriate.

The book was an easy read and was very informative. However, it was very biased on social issues. Don't get this book if you want an objective view. I did like the book though.

This book has many interesting chapters, I plan to keep it even after my collage class is over. It is a keeper!

The cover is a little worn but everything else is great. It is a used book so a little wear and tear is to be expected. I had to buy it for my Human Development class and an older edition was just so much cheaper that I couldn't pass it up.

I love that this book was so inexpensive. My school book store WAY over charges, so half.com and ebay are great ways to get them for a fraction of the price. And the book is in good condition, got here fast.

I am returning to school in my late 20's, and with many bills I had been worried about how to pay for everything. my growth and development class uses the 4th edition of the book, but the only things that have changed from this edition to the new one are the cover and the page numbers are off by 2. I got this book for $10, and the college bookstore wanted $143 for the new edition. I'll be checking EBay for all my books first

I liked the quick response in recieving the Development through the Lifespan textbook. What I disliked was the poor condition the book was in. The outside cover was in good shape but inside the pages had been marked on quite a bit. It wasn't just things underlined, it looked as if a child marked up the pages.

This is a really good deal, and I thank you very much for this. It helped me a lot with my summer class indeed.

The book was in great condition, Brand New with all the disks and everything. I am using it for my UOP Online class. It was very inexpensive and the buyer shipped it right away so I got it just in time.

I paid for this book and the next day was sent an email saying that it was in fact not in stock. I was told that I would receive my funds back but after a week I had not been credited the $100 plus that I had paid. It took almost two weeks to figure out that the funds were put back into my paypal "account" at which point it took me some time to figure out how to get to my funds and another two days until the funds were transferred back to my bank. I was very dissatisfied with my experience.

I paid extra for FAST shipping and it took a whole month for me to get the book! The book was exactly as promised though.
