Destroy All Humans! 2 (PlayStation 2, 2006)

According to my 9 year old son, this is an excellent game. I am not much of a gamer myself, but after watching this, I think I understand the attraction. It is lively and challenging and the graphics are good. I think that the gore is minimalized just perfectly so that my son feels like he has done some damage, but he isn't getting the real life drama and effect of some of the Mature games.
I recommend this to any mom out there who might be questioning the T rating for their younger children. My first grader is still too young for this one, but it's about right for the older elementary and early middle school crowd.
My son still plays it after having msstered it, which is not something I can say for all of his games. So in my book, it's a good buy.

If you've played Destroy All Humans one, then theres not a whole lot to expect from this sequel. The gameplay is just the same as the first, but slightly different, the weapons are the same, but there is a couple of new ones (one being REALLY cool), you have the same jetpack, but it flys differently. If you get what I'm saying, not alot changed, but it's still real fun just to run around destroying all humans. In this story, after Krypto took over most of America in the end of number one, the Mother Ship is completely destroyed and leaves Krypto by himself one Earth with only a hologram of Pox since Pox also blew up in the explosion. You start the quest searching for what is left of your Mother Ship in the 60s, and surrounded by hippies! Instead of upgrading on the Mother Ship, you upgrade by talking to Pox's hallagram, and instead of paying with DNA, you pay with FuronTechCells that you find through out the levels, (America, England, China...) Under the skin, this is another really fun game, but it failed to keep me as hooked as the first, probably because its so simular to the original. Although, if you did enjoy the first game, I recomend this very highly!

This game like it's pre-game DAH!1 is an awsome mix of alien mastery and mayhem. For anyone who likes aliens, the pre-game, or just screwing with the human race this is the game for you

I bought this game in order to pass some time, it was far better than i had expected, there is tons of hidden humor and jokes that will keep you laughing mission after mision. Lots of fun love playing it.

Good thing it's summer. The children haven't stopped playing it since they received it. It was a good price which made me appreciate it even more. I'll be watching this seller to see what other good bargains they have to offer. Great Condition. Thanks.

I love this game....although its not for too young of kids...more adults will appreciate this little gem...lots of innuendo, drug references and a ton a 60s pop culture references. I'm glad i have this!

This game was very entertaining. I really enjoyed playing it. It kept me entertained for many hours.
It wasn't too difficult at all, the story line was great, game graphics were pretty good, and the characters were pretty cool too.
I would give Destroy all humans 2 a thumbs up and definately recommend it to others.

I got destroy all humans 2 for my son.He like the first one but he loves this one.He has had fun with it and now he can have someone else to play at the same time . I think it was a good buy it is hard to find games they do not tire of fast. He has played this game everyday.

Fun and humorous game to promote stress relief and entertainment. This is not by any means a hard core first person shooter game and the graphics are less than stellar, but it is just plain funny and fun. A good game for when you're feeling brain dead, don't want to concentrate much, and just generally feel like releasing simulated mayhem on human kind.

A funny shoot 'em for teens and above. Adult humor and language may not be suitable for the younger ears in the house. The game play is very straight forward - you progress through missions towards your goal as resistance increases. If it moves, kill it or snatch its body. Lots of fun for the price.

This game is so much fun, and funny, gotta love blowing things up!! Even if your not into aliens, this is a blast. Would not recomend this game for kids, but for 18+ great game!!!

Where the first game spoofed '50s sci-fi, this game spoofs the spy movies (most notably the James Bond franchise). The thing I liked about the first game was all the funny stuff the people and Crypto spouted off. This game does not skimp on that! There are some hilarious things that are spoken and thought and it looked as if the creators were having fun making the game! It is very true to the original game. Most of the mission are pretty easy. I was also surprised how easy the final mission was once I came up with the solution (Mind Flash). There were a couple of bugs I noted. people disappearing and bad distance loading but it doesn't detract from the game. One thing disappointed me, you get nothing for totaly completing the game (the first game had a really cool reward when completed). This game is fun and just plain funny! If you have a sense of humor, you'll enjoy this game. If you have the time, definitely read the minds of a few people (especially the Japanese school girls!) and try the extra options during the missions.

i brought this game for my son because he has the first one , it was a hit, the graphics are awsome as well as the story line, if you have the first one or just plain love the first one then i think you should get this one, i think you will not be sorry, its really kool to walk around as the alien and control the humans taking over their brain making them do funny things,as you collect brains. AAAAA+++++++++ kudos on this one

I like because its new and the price was just right compared to the stores price the item came in its case with the book. I bought the item because i like it and the price was right. thank god for ebay.

Realy fun, if you get bored with the story, just run around and kill things!!!!! i mean realy, listen to the story, its frikin funny!!!!!!!

I owned Destroy all Humans 1 and i couldnt wait for the second one. Still the same gameplay but alot of awsome upgrades. I enjoyed every second, challenging yet very rewarding. I would definitly say you must have it if you like to play your own style instead of following a "cookie cut" style of gameing

It is a fun and great game it is 2 player it about a alien who is kill all humans alot of weapon, gun, you can go into humans body and you can be in a U.F.O. in 2 player you both try the destroy all humans,I think everyone should get it it rate-teen. that why I rate it 5 out of 5.

Awesome graphics, fun game! Has a few PG words in it. The Hippies are funny!!! I played the first game and could'nt wait to get the next one! The weapons and the story are MUCH improved.
