Destined for an Early Grave by Jeaniene Frost (2009, Paperback)

I bought it because I really liked the series. There is nothing better than finding a good series to read. I'm always a little worried when a new book comes out because I don't want to be disapointed but it jumped right back in full action and it will leave you waiting for the next one.

SINCE half vampire cat crawfield and her undead lover bones met 6 years ago, they have fought against the rogue undead, battled a vengeful amster vampire and pledged their devotion with a blood bond. now it's time for a vacation. but their hopes for a perfect paris holiday are dashed when cat awakes one night in terror. she is having visions of a vampire named gregor who is more powerful than bones and has ties to her past then even cat herself didn't know about.

this is the 4th book in this series.
Again it's a very good book, and the author again manages to have a multi layered plot that actually works and is followed through on from book to book.

gregor is your typical bad guy who wants both power and the girl. His mistake is being a control freak.
Cat's mother gets a eye opener..........
Cat and bones relationship is tested and survives.
You don't see much of tate in this book or don as they were pretty much on stage alot in last book.

i kinda enjoyed vlad, it would be nice to see him more often.
but again he's been done often enough nowadays.the next book, first drop of crimson a spinoff series, i'm not too sure on as it features not seen often best friend denise.

i think i would have prefered tate or vlad or ian or mencheres.

pet peeves:
vampires walking around in day light
her being able to mind talk to bones, but not him to her.
