This film is a low budget look at fascism and overthrowing an unfair government. Hmmm...a very current topic in my opinion. There are scenes which will turn the stomach if your stomach happens to be a weak one. But it is hilarious and cheesey and worth the time.

True Trash Art - Early John Waters at his Best Must BuyStarring Mink Stole as Peggy Gravel, a delusional suburban housewife in Baltimore and Jean Hill as Grizelda her nurse end up killing Peggy's husband after he try's to for a sedative on her. On the run the ladies seek exile in
Mortville, a wierd realm ruled by Queen Carlotta played by Edith Massey of Egg Lady fame in Pink Flamingo's. She is a cruel and absolute monarch. The story unfolds with fun twists and absurd turns. Peggy & Grizelda rent a room from a lesbian couple whose back stories are hilarious. The queen has a daughter who has her own problems to, wanting to marry a nudist trash collector the has killed. The queen has a gang of leather men to service her that shout one liner's that steal the show. Peggy eventually becomes the Queen's protege
and hatch's a plan to poison everyone in mortville. Peggy played by Mink Stole has been in everyone single one of John Water's movies, she's the best! This is a fun movie. This is a piece of trash art to be studied and reflected on. More than anything you will laugh till your sides hurt.
