Desperado (DVD, 2003, Special Edition)

This movie was brilliant. It seems this role was made with Antonio Banderas in mind. I do not think a better actor could have been chosen for it. He executed it brilliantly. There is a great deal of violence, not that it bothers me, in this movie which can be found offensive by some, but it is intertwined with a nice love story so that it evens out. Definitely worth watching.

I got it for my wife ... she loves Antonio Banderas ... personally, I don't care for it ... mainly because I am somewhat well versed in arms, and some of the fire fights push the imagination to the comedy level, one step above unrealistic ! ! But .... that's Hollywood, and it's a genuine acton packed film that my wife really enjoys, and that's good enough for me !

The music was great plus the gun fights were crazy.The extra bonus on the dvd were also great with the director cut.I strongly recommend this movie to anyone who love the music and with action plus a little romance.

I like the story and action. I had it on VHS but I sold that version so that I could buy it on DVD. I what I do not like was some of the bad language that was occasionally used.

The action sequences in this movie are great fun. I'm not to sure if the movie really NEEDED the romance. But, it does work well as a whole.

If by some chance You've watched Once Upon a Time in Mexico and did not see Desperado (like me)Your in for a treat.There's nothing like when a movie makes sense. Anyway, Robert Rodriguez wrote and Directed both.

Love this movie...Antonio plays a great part in making this movie a success. His acting as well as how he (really) plays the guitar in this action movie is just suppurb. Then you have Penelopie cruz as well adding to the beauty of this movie. I recommend this movie to all people who like a good shoot 'em up/ romance movie.
