Desk Reference to the Diagnostic Criteria From DSM-IV-TR by American Psychiatric Association (2000)

I like this desk reference its small and it not too heave. but it doesn't have all the info i need all the time. like the DD and some of the not so important stuff.

I needed this book for a class and I love the small size. The fast shipping helped me to get it in time for my class.

I bought the Desk reference book for my daughter. NewPhone 74205 three weeks ago and was immediately impressed with the number of features available on this inexpensive phone. It has a 1M-pixel camera, video camera, and speakerphone. The NewPhone's size is perfect for carrying in a pocket and the battery has a pretty good lifespan of roughly 4 hours. My only complaint is that the menu system on the phone makes you click four times before you can find someone in the address book, set an alarm, or perform a additional functions. Other phones I've owned have simpler menus and get you to important features easily. Overall, I'd recommend the phone if you're on a budget.

Great product. I am using the condensed desk reference version for a psychology course. It is much easier than the original large version of the DSM-IV and serves it's purpose for the class I'm taking - very helpful and simple to use; small and easy to carry around.

It's tiny and gets to the point of the DSM, it's perfect to carry around. Everyone I know, especially professors, use both this baby DSM and the regular DSM together, you can't live without it!

I am actually really happy with my purchase. I was actually under the impression that it was the full DSM but it was actually the handbook. Come to find out the handbook has a sufficient amount of information for clinical use and is infinitely smaller than the full DSM.

This product is a great "handy" and quick reference. The actual manual is monstrous and not portable. For clinical setting, this is great for on-the-spot use. The reason it is slimmer is it only contains the criteria for diagnosis, none of the other descriptive work or differential diagnosis verbiage.

The text arrived in a timely manner and was brand new. This desk reference is handy and is much less cumbersome than the full 1,000 page text. As a new user of the DSM, I still need the full text. However, it is only necessary that I carry the desk reference most of the time.

It's short and concise. Exactly what I needed for class. The descriptions of each disorder are easy to understand and the criteria are laid out in a helpfl manner. The organization is perfect for a first time user.
