MUST HAVE for any Graphic Design Library

This book came into my collection as a present last year and I can't even express how I wished I had this much earlier in my design career. This book opens the world of graphic design to anyone interested in pursuing a career in this field. It's a great reference book for those already in the field. Students of design will find it quite insightful; pushing ideas to the next level wherever you are in the creative process.
This is COMMUNICATION DESIGN 101: The Show & Tell of what quality graphic design entails. This is the "how-to/what-not-to-do/go-do-it/now-do-it-even better" approach to design. Tons of examples clearly explain each topic throughout the book. Direct examples of their own text and pages are used; practicing what is taught. And at the end of each topic covered are exercizes for creative exploration. If it's possible to run out of ideas, this is stimulating and if it's possible too have to many ideas, this will help structure the chaos.
