I bought this book because it was required as a course textbook. That being said, it was comprehensive in its content and easy to read (especially after a long day at my regular job!). I would recommend it to anyone who is getting serious about their art and wants to learn more about basic design concepts. If you are really motivated, it came with a password to go onto a related web-site where you can test yourself to see whether you are grasping the principals.

Not at all as describedDescribed as new and it definitely wasn't. Also i received the international version and NOWHERE in the description was that mentioned. I tried contacting the seller and they never responded to the fact that i was upset. If you buy this book, make sure its the right one!!!

Student book Creative DesignsThe book looked like a dog had chewed on the edge of each page of the bool and the bottom of the book. I had to cut off the edges and bottom of the top page. When I purchased the book it was noted as like new. Not chewed and like new.

) I saved about $25 purchasing the International version versus the one my school was selling. I would have saved a little more if shipping costs were lower, but what do you expect, I bought it all the way in Singapore. I got the book in a reasonable amount of time in perfect condition. So far the only difference between this one and the one in the US is that it says not for sale in the US on the corner of the cover. I don't know what more to say other than it was a fairly good buy.
