    This is a Must Have Movie ,To watch this film is to instantly fall in love with the movie, the characters, and the scenery!!! Helen Shaver will forever be the sexiest professor in the desert.This movie is without a doubt one of the greatest lesbian movies ever, its been around for two decades .The tasteful love scene is one of the best I've seen.it sizzles !! the movie takes place in the late 50's,Desert Hearts is a lesbian love story, but also a story about the importance of many types of relationships between women: mother and daughter, friend and confidant. patricia charbonneau is amazing. the movie is a great one to watch and to own , also one of the first lesbian theme movies that had a happy ending . You will watch it over and over again .
