The first review is not enthusiastic, he suggested the DVD 'One night in Paris', so I admit that the DVD 'Live in Milan' is my first from Depeche Mode.
Therefore, I cannot compare it. But I was impressed for beautiful images, great songs, in particular new songs - in my opinion, Exciter live is not so full of energy than PTA (e.g. John The Revelator, don't you think so?).
Then, I think that we can observe Dave and Martin feeling for friendship: see the final song. All the members enjoyed staying on stage with people singing together. Dave runs all the time, and sings so perfectly. Martin is his angel. Fletch is here, but we don't undestand if it's a case or not.
Finally, all Depeche Mode are great, no one like them!!!

Depeche Mode's "Live In Paris" DVD is one of the best concert DVDs done by any band, hands down. With their 2006 "Line in Milan" concert DVD I was expecting a newer, fresher concert but it wasn't. The mix is off and sounds like it was recorded like a bootleg (as compared to the concert in Paris.) The recording of Paris is also far superior to the Milan concert. If you like Depeche Mode, you'll like this latest offering. However, for enjoyment, mix, filming and energy, opt for their live in Paris DVD.

Um grande show. Vou fazer uma comparação deste video com o anterior "One night in Paris". A apresentação da banda como sempre está impecavel, apesar de não estar no mesmo nivel que One Night in Paris. Em "Milan" Dave Gahan está com o vocal melhor que no "one night" mas a sua performance esta mais contida, em "one night" ele está bem mais solto, com uma atitude bem mais rock and roll. A qualidade do video aqui é superior (mas não muito) a de "one night", com um palco mais colorido e um pouco mais complexo do que a simplicidade de "one night". No geral é um ótimo dvd, que vale a pena ser adquirido. Para quem gosta da banda é indispensável.
