The Last Great DVD Player at a Great Price

This is about the best Universal DVD player you can get. It is comparable to Denon's top of the line 5910CI [Same HVQ Realta Chip] at a fraction of the price. Why Denon did this? Who knows. The Video quality on first look on a small 720p LCD is remarkable. The DVD looks almost High Def. No Joke. Like most people I have a collection of DVD's for my favorite movies, so reproduction and upscaling of the standard def is important. This player will no dissappoint as all the reviews have stated. Why so cheap now? The universal BlueRay players are comming and at a reasonable cost. If you can hold out longer then this unit is not for you, but if you not only love to watch movies but also do some serious stereo listening, than this player needs to be considered.I put it up against my High end modified Jolida Vacuum Tube player and it more than held its own. In fact bass reproduction was outstanding and the music was still organic. This unit has a "Pure Direct" mode which is a 2 CH analog out with the option to turn off the non-used digital sections of the player. Did I mention SACD and DVD-A compatible. Very enjoyable to listen to! Highly Recommended is you don't mind getting a separate BlueRay player. If you can wait, take a look at the new Universal BlueRay Player from Oppo due out in the summer. It has some good initial reviews and may solve all of your HT needs. With that said, I am not sure many other players can do both Video and Audio as well as the Denon and the DVD-3930CI is currently at a great price point.
