Denon AVR 3802
I have wanted to move from a stereo receiver and amp into an integrated surround system for quite awhile as movies get watched more by the other members of my family then my audio, spinning vinyl-cds-reels, use by me. My previous set up was built around NAD power. Not only has the Denon done a great job as a processor but it also powers my ESS AMT1As effectively. The remote is a little tricky. I found that after working with it awhile it got much more comfortable with it. I have heard in outside reviews there are options to the factory remote but I imagine once you get the remote down you’ll be, as I am, happy.
I am very happy with the Denon AVR 3802 and recommended it. Search the web and you will see quite a few positive experiences from owners of this model. One lest note a friend of mine repairs high end audio and told me that the Denon AVRs are some of the better built of the surround processors out there.
