
Pilates/Yoga Combo

Having done some very precise Pilates approaches, I find the simplicity of Denise Austin's Pilates video to be good for those just wanting to break into the discipline. You will definitely be challenged and feel the burn the next day!
The yoga portion is fun also and challenging for beginners. Again, it's not as precise as a disciplined class, but gives you the sense of what is is all about.
Dislikes would be that unless you know proper breathing techniques and body symmetry concepts taught in more structured Pilates training such as Stott, you can do some damage! Denise does not discuss much as far as neck/lower back/core positioning and it is easy to hurt yourself and be very sore with a bad back if you don't have foundation training in Pilates. I recommend some Stott Pilates training for those who really want to get a solid foundation in Pilates.
