
The Denim Diet
We’ve all been there; trying to lose weight, fad diets, starving ourselves, losing a few pounds, then gaining back everything we’ve lost. Personally, I’m tired of diets that claim that I’m going to be a size two. I’m frustrated by diet books that assume I’m stupid or lazy if I have a little extra weight around my belly.
I prefer the approach that The Denim Diet takes. Yes, all the how to information is there but the author focuses on being healthy rather than adhering to a certain size. In the short and long run, I’d rather live actively and be kind to myself rather than alternately starving myself and then binging to drown my sorrows.
