Demons and Wizards by Uriah Heep (CD, Jan-1989, Mercury)

excellent music by a pioneering group known as URIAH HEEP there music is one of a kind. kind of like rock meets country i have always enjoyed there music but had burned out the cassettes i had so replaced with cd's not the same as cassettes though

I just love this movie. It really is a thinker movie and it shows us how God can work on us and provide for us also.

Some of the lyrics are a reminder of a turbulent time when the world seemed full of hate and hope lied with our ability to show love for one another.
While the mix is admittedly crude by modern standards, there is an undeniable purity missing from most of todays overprocessed downloads. This band brought the intensity of their live show into the studio. You can feel the passion
throughout. If you like your classic rock with mustard only, this is for you.
If you want the it smothered in techno fixin's, move on.

Solid rock and vocals that would make Paula, Randy and Simon pleased.

I just have to say something about this jerk ghettopope who gave this cd such an undeserved bad review. This guy obviously knows nothing about music if he thinks this has bad singing on it. David Byron was one of the greatest frontman vocalists in the history of Rock! There is an almost operatic style here and the harmonies are awesome. Mick Box's guitar work although somewhat limited is very creative and precise and not an ounce of sloppiness in his playing. The writing, production and performance on this cd is incredible. People like ghettopope that write these reviews that are so far off the mark make me wonder where their head is at. This cd rates right up there with early Alice Cooper, Led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath, Deep Purple or any other 70's Rock Band! If that's not your cup of tea then don't buy it and then write a stupid and inaccurate review.

I found this CD on e-bay after looking for it in several stores. The price was fair, delivery was fine and I love it. Had not heard this album for 20 some years. Nice to have a place to go to look for vintage material.

This CD was a gift for my Husband who remembers Uriah Heep from his 'younger' days and wanted to listen to it again. It's a great CD!

was something I couldn't pass up. The price was right too.
