Delta * by Delta Goodrem (CD, Jul-2008, Decca USA)

I discovered Delta a few years before this CD came out, and I was immediately attracted to the piano and the voice combo. Delta is a wonderful artist/singer. For this particular CD, I was a bit disappointed, but I feel the reason for that is because I believe her "people" were trying to Americanize her music to relate better to the US. That was a mistake - not that this CD is any less than good, but it isn't the Delta that I've grown to love. It sounds a bit more hip hop - Delta is unique and shouldn't be thrown into the mold. Her style is original and should remain that way. Anyway, Good job Delta, and thanks for getting your music introduced to the US!
