Delphi SkyFi2 XM Radio Receiver with Home and Car Kit

We wanted an XM that would replace our old SkyFi and could be used in either car or in our house. The SkyFi2 we bought was the ONLY XM radio that could fill the bill. It works with the FM modulator I installed in my wife's car years ago. Since it has a built in FL modulator, it works in my car replacing the Roady2. And it works in the SkyFi "boombox" in our house. Now we have one XM subscription (instead of two) and a radio that works in all three locations. Perfect for our needs.

The skyfi2 will fit into a boom-box which also contains a CD player and am/fm radio. It is easy to maneuver. Unless one reads the directions, one will be confused by all the buttons, but it is relatively simple to operate once you have figured out the system. Because it comes with the home and car kit, there is nothing else one needs to purchase (other than speakers for the home).

I like the stock ticker, internal FM modulator and the way the unit turns itself on when you turn on your car. Much nicer than the Skyfi 1 that I had.

Unit works good. Its alittle big or bulky with everything. Should have a cassette player in your vehicle so you dont get static. All in all its good though. It works so thats all that matters.

It was reasonably priced and my daughter loved my husbands that I purchased it for her for Christmas

My old one stopped working & I neede one exactly the same to fit my cradle . The problem is they're no longer available

I need it a satellite radio for traveling between the states. The satellite radio is a good alternative, except the yearly contract with XM Radio. Installation is a project because the external antenna.
