Great sound, awesome functionality.

The Roady2 is an amazing little unit. The FM modulator is very strong, in fact this receiver was discontinued when the FCC mandated a weaker FM signal so other cars wouldn't get any interference, which is stupid because we all use scrambled stations anyway. The dial on the side makes it easy to navigate by memory when you are driving so you don't have to look at it. The remote makes life very easy when you bring it in the house. In terms of sound quality, I have tested it with a tape cassette adapter and the treble is super crisp. The bass isn't extremely powerful but makes a satisfactory presence in my car. Compared to the first unit I had, the Audiovox Xpress EZ, the Roady2 blows it out of the water for sound quality and reception for some reason (using the exact same antenna in the exact same areas). The only difference is the ease of transferring the radio into the house, but for the quality, it cannot be beaten for the price. Also, the unit automatically recognizes whether or not it should use the aux out port or FM modulation to transmit the audio. Finally, the ability to pick favorite songs, not to mention the choice of backlight colors makes this a great receiver for anyone who is looking for a decent radio but doesn't want to invest.
