Dell W2306C 23 in. HDTV-Ready TV

Nice product. I bought mine for use in my camping trailer (yeah, yeah - I know.... Why do you need a wide-screen TV in your camping trailer? Because I can!) I removed the factory display stand from the unit (4 simple screws on the back of the display) and have permanently mounted it using an standard aftermarket wallmount adapter. The adapter I bought has both the 75mm and 100mm spacing, the DELL display uses the 100mm spacing with is I believe the industry standard size. Coupled this display up with a LG DVD player/Digital TV tuner, has a wonderful display picture using either the S-Video connector on the side port or the component inputs on the bottom of the unit. My only beef is that the audio level is very low, even when set at maximum (100%). I really don't think that this is a problem with the DELL display, I'm pretty sure that it's a low output signal from my LG player. I will be installing a audio/video booster between the two (not using the video boost section, it's a beautiful picture) to compensate. Don't get me wrong, the TV can create lots of sound, it's just that the input from my source doesn't seem to be up to par. I have only used this unit for a couple of weeks now and it was a refurbished unit (who knows why it was "refurbished"), but I am very satisfied with it overall. I only wish that it had an option for compensating for my weak audio input (I dunno, can't say I have ever really seen any display do this), even better would be an internal audio limiter to prevent sudden audio peaks.

It was exactly what I wanted. The price was a great deal. They packaged it where there was no damage to the TV. Shipped it I got it in three days. The TV works and looks brand new. Just exactly how they advertised it. I am totally and completely happy with this TV.

I have always liked these TV's. Unfortunately, they were defective and thus Dell has been replacing them if they are still under warranty. But if you can get your hands on one, I hiughly recommend. I have used the 17", then the 19", and now the 23" for my monitor and it is a VERY nice picture. A little on the wide side, but that's because of the speakers as it is also a HD TV. I give it a 9.5 out of 10.

I love the way it looks under my kitchen counter...I wan't the biggest TV I could buy that fit under the counter and the picture is great....Great price and fast shipping!!!
