The Dell™ UltraSharp™ 3007WFP 30-inch Wide-screen Flat Panel LCD Monitor is a wide aspect desktop display that enriches the performance of LCD displays with a stylish design and enhanced functionality. The 3007WFP wide aspect LCD has WQXGA resolution of 2560x1600 pixels and also provides 11 ms (grey-to-grey) response time1 to enable crisp clear images when using the display for fast motion video. The 3007WFP is optimized for video editing, pre-press editing, 3D modeling, CAD, visualization, digital photography and gamers. With 4 USB 2.0 ports, 2 located on the side, the 3007WFP gives users convenient access points to plug in devices such as keyboards, digital cameras, secondary hard drives and printers. An integrated 9-in-2 multimedia card reader allows easy access to download photos or files. With 3.54 inches (90 mm) of height adjustment virtually every user can adjust the display to their exact comfort level and help reduce eye and neck strain.

    A very nice monitor, even fast enough to play video games!!!

    Can you imagine having a desktop area of 2560x1600 pixels? How it becomes so easy and confortable to work on 2 pages at the same time with word or view an entire large spreadsheet without to have to scroll every second.

    I like the built-in memory card reader, very convenient to upload my photos. I like the built-in USB2 4 ports concentrator too that I use to connect my gamepads.

    I see only 4 inconvenience:
    - No OSD menu for non Dell PC unit,
    - it needs a very powerfull dual link DVI-D graphic card (be sure to have the suitable one),
    - the brightness is not uniform all over the display,
    - no HDMI connector even if the monitor is HDCP compliant.

    Dell just released a new version of this monotor that I would recommend: The 3007WFP-HC. This monitor solves the brightness uniformity problem encountered with the regular 3007WFP.

    Despite the complaints from the other reviewers, you cannot buy a better monitor. The lack of connections is not wiothout reason. There is no S-video because s-video was made for 640 x 480 resolution, would you really want to use only 1/13 of your monitor to do anything? No. This is the same reason for no VGA input and no RCA input and no HDMI input, none of these connectors can carry enough signal to utilize the full resolution of this fantastic monitor. As far as problems with even brightness throughout the screen, I have not seen any problem, the other reviewer probably just is using an inferior video card. This monitor does require a Dual link DVI video card. I use a Sapphire Raedeon X1950 XTX card as my graphics card and I have not had any problem, no lagging, no distorted colors, everything has been smooth and crisp. I have not had a single problem with this monitor, it seems to run cooler than the Apple version of this display.
