Great LCD

With two different versions of this LCD floating around on the market, purchasing a 1905FP can be quite an endeavour.
Regarding the Samsung 20 ms model, these LCDs are created for an office environment, where you spend hour upon hour staring at a screen. High brightness and contrast ratios, low failure rates and the option for either DVI (Digital Visual Interface aka. the White Plug) or VGA (Video Graphics Array aka. the Blue Plug) are exceptional features to these LCDs. Colors on these Ultrasharps are vivid and realistic.
Regarding the AUO 8 ms model, these are decent all-around models for both gaming and office applications. The AUO models are simply not as good as the Samsung on the color range. With a lower contrast ratio and brightness, you just don't get to appreciate the AUO as much. For gaming, however, this model is pretty good. In comparison to other equally priced 19" LCDs (i.e. Rosewill, AOC, AOpen, Low-end BenQs and ViewSonics), this has to come out on the top of the heap.
After selling over 200 of these units on eBay, we've had a return ratio in the <1% range. It's obvious that people who have received these units are quite happy with the performance, the satisfaction ratio is high. With prices on both these models on eBay floating at around $240, this is a great deal versus the 1907FP, which is a mediocre step back from Dell in order to save money and increase the profit margin, as you see the 1905FPs coming back from lease providers.
