
Sold me the original plus the warranty replacement
These units took forever to get shipped. They apparently both work as I was able to upgrade the firmware on both of them and get them into a stacking configuration. I tried to have the unit(s) transferred into my Dell account and after much frustration with Dell's automated system I finally got a person on the phone in this department that explained that one of the service tags is a replacement unit for the other one. The older unit should have been returned to Dell. So instead of being able to transfer the warranty on the newer unit to my account and purchase a warranty on the older... I'm stuck with a unit Dell would like back and the other warranty is useless. If you have another 6248 you would like to send me to replace the older unit and I can confirm that if I ship Dell back the older one that I'll be able to have both units finally under my name then I will be a satisfied customer.
