Dell DJ Ditty (512 MB) MP3 Player

ok really great item once you get it to work.. i plugged it in first to my pc at work, and bam, everything was fine. i tried to use it at home, and the problems began... after about 7 hours of reading forums on the subject, i was not the only one having the problem of the Ditty being misidentified by windows xp... once the problem was cleared (rather lengthy procedure) i havent had a problem since, and its been an amazing player for the price. quick loading, muliti pre set eq, fast recharge rate.. overall if i had to do it again, i would. if anyone reading this has already bought one and is having the same problems as myself, please by all means email me at diageo23@excite.com and i will be more than happy to send you the steps to get your Ditty up and running with your xp system..

I love it; its small, holds plenty of songs for me, and it is easy to use. The seller was great and very responsive the price was right. I guess the only thing I would like the Ditty to do is have a longer charge life, it has about 8 to 10 hours before recharge.

small size interface could be better and it would be nice if you could specify the order in which songs would play

I wanted a low cost unit to hookup to my car to play music and to take on the beach when I go for a walk. This unit fills the bill on both counts, nice ear buds sound great, better than my daughters Ipod. Small, compact, no frills just plays music, but does it well.

This is a great product, it plug's right into your usb port, and hold's 220 song's. The battery last's for 14 hrs., & only is charged for 2.5 hours. If you have a dell computer, plug it into the back, it wont work in the front, it doe's not register. A truly great product.

Reasonable price. That was the first reason I finally decided to jump into modern times and find out what an MP3 player was all about. I finally dumped my CD walkman and will never go back. I tried to figure out the Ipod that a friend of mine had and it was TOO complicated for me. The Dell Dj DITTY is Awesome!! The simplest to use by far. Plug it into the computer to charge it or to download songs. Not alot of buttons to push. Easy to use and easy to buy this one is the obvious choice for so many reasons!!

I like the dell dj because it is rechargable and charges in you usb port on your computer. The mp3 player can hold up to 250 songs and also has am/fm radio. The battery last me over 8 hours and has a lock function while playing, so I can't change songs or turn up the valume while it is in my pocket. The dell dj mp3 player is compact and resonable priced. Dell has upgraded this to a newer version but sometimes newer is not better. The dell dj is easy to operate and if you get into an unfamilar menu in the program just turn it off and it puts you back at the beginning menu. I would recomend this for anyone who just wants a simple but reliable mp3 player and doesn't want to spend a lot on batteries. I own 3 of them and gave one away for a gift.

I love my DJ Ditty. It is very easy to use and very compact. I bought these for my children and they have truly enjoyed them to the fullest extent. I would highly recommend them. Dell customer service has been great to deal with in every aspect.

This unit sounds better than my iPod, which is probably due to the quality of the earbuds. I have no complaints - I really like how the Ditty plugs straight into my laptop, no USB cable needed. The less stuff I have to carry with me, the better. Great for traveling - no cables, no battery charger.

It made the perfect gift. Small convenient and it plays gospel, jazz, what ever music your heart desire to listen to. You don't have to disturb no one else while listing. Awesome giftz. You could not give or receive a better gift.

This MP3 Player is great. Despite what I was told before I purchased it. This product does work with my Windows Vista!! There is no updated software for this product but it works without the software.

Doesn't work with windows vista, wanted a cheap stylish player which it is, but it won't work with vista.

Small, easy to use and down load. I always buy Dell products becuase the great technical support when needed.
