Dell A960 All-In-One InkJet Printer

This Dell All In One Printer is a great asset. The color copies and prints are truly amazing as well as fast output! What we liked most of this printer is the automatic document feed. The overall quality of print and clarity is a 4 out of 5! It is rather bulky compared to other models we have seen, but a true workhorse!

Had this printer 2 years and loved it. One day I went to print and Whammo! it's printing blank sheets. I replace the cartridges and get a "50C" error, pull out the manual and reset the printer as instructed. Nothing. I get on Dell's online tech support and speak with some guy in India reading a script. Halfway through the "troubleshooting" he disconnects. Another guy comes on and starts the script over. I went off! He says they had a server error and accidentally disconnected. Whatever! He then explains that my printer is dead, my warranty expired and I will need to contact a "local technician". I ended the session after giving him a piece of my mind about a two-year old printer dying. He then called me at 10:30 at night to tell me the exact same line, It's broke and I will have to contact a local tech. Don't buy this junk it's a Lexmark in disguise and you can't purchase ink from any local office store. Tech support is a nightmare!

I wanted an add'l printer, but I wanted a Dell 960 identical to the one my husband has in his home office. It would make life a bit easier, I thought. I know how to use it, I have lots of ink cartridges, and it does everything I need. I looked online at Dell, but they don't make that model anymore. So I looked on ebay. Wow,I found one-- the final price was truly amazing, and it was in great, almost new condition. It arrived in great shape too, and I am just tickled pink.

I waited weeks with no reply to two emails. I was finally contacted and told that they were shipping the printer and that the seller had been in the hospital with a stroke. (I have had 2 other seller give me this excuse for slow shipping). A few more weeks went by and I still had no printer, so I filed a claim with PayPal and recieved a refund. Even paypal got no response from seller.
Why did I decide to buy a printer? My printer finally died and since I need it for a number of activities and organizations that I am involve with, I ordered this one. I finally went to Walmart and bought a new one.
It is important to me to have fast shipping, but more so to have communication from the seller letting me know the item has been shipped, tracking numbers, etc. I pay immediately and expect to recieve similar treatment. I have a 100% rating and try to deal with those sellers who have no lower than a 95%.

The printer arrive with a strong smell from cigaretes. it did not print well, the cartrige head was not working and the ponting results were poor. after chnging the cartrige it got better. scaning is fine. the fadder is feeding the pages of so the printing is not stright. over all not great but reseanable for 5$+shipping.
