Dell 924 All-In-One InkJet Printer

The first few months I had this printer I thought I'd finally found the perfedt printer. It scans beautifully, makes it very easy to get your pictures out of your camera and it has the size I need for my very limited office space.
When the first cartridge of ink ran out, the trouble started. No matter what I do, I still keep getting the low ink message both on the printer and in the program itself. I've replaced both the black and color cartridges twice and still can't find the cause of the problem. None of the suggestions Dell has to offer seam to do any good and now My black ink settings are printing in blue. I've also un installed and reinstalled the program several times with that being no help either. I'm about to toss this printer in the trash and get another one. IT WON'T BE A DELL!

I found this to be a very inexpensive solution for everything an all in one printer should do. Scans, copies, prints and even has PC Fax.

The thing that sets it apart from just about every other all in one that I've seen is that its white. Its a really nice change of pace from all the other printers out there. People at my office were really impressed with just that by itself.

Dell provides really nice software to let you know when you're going to need new ink.

The ink is a typical price for ink for a printer, not outrageously over priced like laser printers.

Look no further if you're looking for an inexpensive solution for all your printing, scanning, copying and faxing needs.

It appears that they do sell good printers and do what they can to try and make sure everything works.
I had some Del lCartridges which were older the Colored ink went bad it looks like as the pritner did not detect it.
For a Dell this is what you get sometimes Ink does not last for over a year so I would not recommed on stock piling it.
Good quality printers from this company and they do what they can to resolve any issue and work with you.
I would recommend using this company to Purcahse a printer that works for a good price, just depends what you are looking for.
The 924 is one of the better or latest printers I should say!

I bought a all in one dell printer, and it will not feed the paper, correctly. The printer says paper jam. I tried everything dell told me to do, and still not working.

This printer is not working properly and I'm still trying to figure out why. The manual is no help. None of the menu items show up, e.g. scan, like it says it should. Also, the exclamation point beside the power button is constantly on and I can't find in the manual the reason for this either.

I should have read this review page before I purchased the Dell 924. The printer prints at approx 10 page per minute not at advertised 20-29 ppm. The color quality is very very bad. Dell support told me i must have installed the cartridge wrong. Thing about this solution for a while!. The cartridge only goes in one way. I have had at least 10 HP printers over the years, I quess i should have stuck with a real printer instead of a cheap toy Dell.

Excellent product. Has more features than I expected. Very pleased the ease of its operation. I bought this product primarily because I was pleased with my previous Dell Printer. So, when I decided to upgrade, I stayed with Dell.

After having a cheapy printer for several years, I decided to invest in a good all-in-one printer! I have owned several Dell sytems in the past several years and have never had any problems with them so I felt comfortable giving them more of my business.

I ended up ordering the Dell 924 all and one. When my husband came home from work, he just about went through the roof because his experience with Dell at work (he works in IT) has been far from wonderful. I called and cancelled my order.

Low and behold, 1 week later my printer showed up in the mail. My husband had done some research on the net and saw how well the printer was rated! The only down side that he saw what the cartridges are super expensive and can only be purchased from Dell! He knew this was something that I wanted for my E-bay business and also to be able to print pictures (and fax).

Needless to say, a year later I haven't had any problems with my all-in-one! I just replaced the black cartridge for the first time, so it lasted a while!

I would definitely recommend the Dell 924 All-in-one to anyone who needs a multi-functional office system!

I purchased this All-In-One Printer/Copier for my Ebay business. I design and personalize labels such as address labels. Quality of print was my number one concern when purchasing a new printer. This particular printer is a great color copier but the quality of print is average at best. I am also very disappointed in the amount of consumption of ink. This printer uses at least 3 times the amount of ink as did my old printer from HP.

The biggest draw back of all is that Dell printer cartridges are only sold from Dell. You can NOT go locally and get one. You must order the replacements and then WAIT for them to be delivered. This does not suit my business at all. They have created a monopoly on this one folks.

So, bottom line for me is, if I had it to do over again, I would not make the same purchase. I would purchase a different name brand and be sure that the replacement cartridges are available where and when I need them.

I will never know how this printer will stand up over time because I will not have it long.

I LIKED THE PRINTER WHEN HE HAD IT ADVERTISED BUT,WHEN I GOT IT,IT DID NOT WORK IT WOULD NOT PRINT. I HAD TO BUY MY INK AND IT STILL DID NOT WORK.I THOUGHT IT WAS IN EXCELLENT CONDITION WHEN I BOUGHT IT,BUT WAS DISAPPOINTED.IT WAS A POOR BUY.

The first one sent looked good but didn't work so the seller sent me a second one to replace the 1st and it looked as if it had been driven over, it was vary discolored and old looking. I had to pay to return them both so I lost out BIG TIME with shipping and the return charge as well. I will not buy electronics from Ebay any longer for my experiances have not been good.

For the price, this is a great All In One printer, scanner, copier. I had one for about 18 months and it broke. I bought another because I know that scans come out clear, it is always reliable, and it prints great photos. I would recommend getting ink right from DELL. I have bought ink at Home Depot and Staples but they didn't seem to work right. It is more expensive through DELL but the high quality ink cartridges last a LONG time. Watch ebay and you can buy the DELL 924 printer for around $36.00 and that price includes shipping!

This was a real good printer that I once had a nd needed a new one and there was no place else I wanted to get it but here because it was inexpensive and I knew that it would owrk and if it didn't I would be helped with the issues concering it

Printer does below to average on coping jobs to plain paper, max setting is 1200dpi. However it does a good job with photo printing on photo paper, if set to 1400dpi.
Ink cartridges are hard to find locally, Office Max is the only place I have found other then Dell to get them. All in all very well worth the $38.87 I paid for it.

Well, i needed a new printer, but i didnt really mean to buy it. i thought i would get outbid on it, and i didnt. what i dont like about it is that it does not come with any ink.

The printer works great for printing invoices and USPS postage labels. I highly recommend the Dell 924 Inkjet printer.

I bought the Dell 924 AIO Inkjet Printer/Scanner/Fax/Copier because I wanted a new printer and a new scanner and it had the bonus options of copier and fax; seemed like a great idea. It is a nice streamlined piece of equipment with good software, however, the paper feeding is a problem. I get frequent incorrect errors displayed on the digital readout which say "out of paper" or "paper jam" each of which prevent processing. Currently, I cannot get by the "paper jam" message even though there is no paper jam which means the only function of the AIO I can use is the scanner.

Have had so much trouble with dell with the other AIO that I still have not been able to start with the other in the box.

I was very excited about the great deal that I got on this used printer combo. Unfortunately that is the only positive thing I have to say about it. It will not scan, it will not let me put ink in it, and it keeps flashing an error message about a jam in the carriage which does not exist. Shipping is non-refundable and was most of the expense ($35!) for the printer. Well, except for the ink that I cannot use now. With tax, it was more than the shipping. I feel ripped off. I am sure it is a great printer model, but I will never buy used electronics again. I emailed the seller immediatly, but they only responded with an 800 number that I will not be able to call because I have only this computer for long-distance communication. Ripped off.

Great printer, not a thing wrong with it. Prints very fast and while printing in DRAFT mode is very readable, unlike other printers.
