Dell 1503FP (Black) 15 inch LCD Monitor

I honestly think that Dell could have done a better job at adding more useful functions to this flat monitor. When it came out, some believe it was one of the best monitors. LCD monitor manufacturers should be experienced enough now to provide a first class LCD monitor. Take in consideration the time it was manufactured, I give it a B.

This transaction was fine, the shipping was fast... The product was OK
BUT..... Due to the lack of proper photos, it was very misleading to me(not being a computer geek) From the photo it appeared to be a flat screen monitor.
When it arrived (after $50, And a huge box) it was not what I wanted. Now I am stuck with 2 identical monitors. SELLERS NEED TO PHOTOGRAPH FRONT , BACK, AND SIDES ...

One of the best items I have bought recently was a 15 inch LCD monitor for my computer. It came in "like new" conditions and shows no signs of ever being used! I am using it right now to write this review, and let me tell you something, I went from an older monitor that was enormous. This monitor is about 2-4" inches in depth, and fits right where I need it to on my computer desk. I got tired of my desk being covered with monitor so I purchased this flat screen. It came well packed it was simple to install. It is an older version requiring a power adapter but it works fine for my needs

I have had one since they came out and worked for a company that had hundreds, they lasted forever and we GREAT screens. Yeah the resolution is what it is. But for it's day it was a great screen. I still have one.

My computer room was becoming crowded, so removing the old monitor was the needed solution. I am very pleased of the price of the Dell 1503FP 15 inch LCD Monitor. It is very easy to set up, and takes up little space. The LCD screen is in excellant condition, and well suited for my viewing needs. The old monitor would become hot, now I never notice any heat. Each time I am using it, I still think how pleased I am for purchasing it. If one's desktop area needs improvement, I would quickly recommend buying a Dell 1503FP LCD Monitor.

I brought the Monitor because it was inexpensive and this was actually the first time i ever brought anything on e-bay and probably the last people are not clear on the description and what it comes with. the people sent me the wrong plug then when i e-mailed them the said the didn't have any more in stock so now i had to go to the place where the monitor was made and spend another 40.00 for a plug the people at electronics cafe we not helpful at all and i would never recomend them to anybody.

I bought my dell 1503 used for a friend for 50 bucks. He needed the cash and i wanted a LCD. I had to by a Dell power cord for it off eBay for 20 bucks plus shipping close to 30 bucks total.I got it all together for 80 bucks. I have now had this monitor for over a year and it is still the best monitor i have ever owned. Bright screen no dead pixels nice picture. I am using a graphics card and have my screen settings set up just for the dell 1503fp. Watching movies and or playing games on this monitor is great and i have no complaints. If you are looking for a good starter LCD for your PC this is a good low cost option that will last you for a long time.

I have has this monitor now for a few years and its been great. allways a nice clear screen. no dead pixels or anything. you just got to watch what seller you buy from and read everything about it. some sellers sell dead lcd's and they tell you so in the listing but if you don't watch you will get stuck with junk if you dont read the listing. or they will sell them without the power cord and they will say missing power cord in the listing. so my advice is to read the listings and make sure everything is there. check photos also. ask the seller questions is the monitor photoed the one i will get? and so on. some sellers use stock photos then the one you get isn't the one you saw. I always like to see the item working in a photo not them just saying it works!!!

I have had this for some time and its been good. I didn't use it much but it has a great clear lcd. nice black case and has controls to control the brightness and contrast. also has a button to auto aline the screen so it puts everything were it should be by the touch of a button!!! I loved it untill i bought a larger monitor

The monitor came without cables (which was disclosed by the buyer), but I didn't realize that it required a special external power supply which was not supplied. Also, the screen has a minor shadowy defect (blurred color) on one side of the screen that was not revealed in its description. Other than these two items, the screen looks pretty good. I bought it strictly because it was a flat screen LCD by a reputable manufacturer and had good ratings. Also, the price was very reasonable which was a major factor. If there is a lesson to be learned, it is that one should read the descriptions VERY carefully and use other independent sources to find out absolutely everything you can about any item before bidding on it. The vast majority of folk on eBay seem to be very honest and forthcoming about the items they have up for bid.

The previous review by eBayer max2dog was dishonest at best. The monitor worked perfectly before I sent it to him, worked fine (it is sitting on my desk) after he returned it for a full refund. I did remove the stand for the monitor when I sent it to him and when I received it back, put the stand back on with the 4 screws that hold it on. So, he lied to me about the reason for returning it and should not be trusted to follow through on purchases.
