Dell 1503FP (Black) 15 inch LCD Monitor

I honestly think that Dell could have done a better job at adding more useful functions to this flat monitor. When it came out, some believe it was one of the best monitors. LCD monitor manufacturers should be experienced enough now to provide a first class LCD monitor. Take in consideration the time it was manufactured, I give it a B.

I think that the Dell 1503fp is a great monitor. It saves tons of office space and does not have as much glare as any of its CRT counterparts. It offers a very bright, crisp picture and I would recommend it to anyone.

The monitor came without cables (which was disclosed by the buyer), but I didn't realize that it required a special external power supply which was not supplied. Also, the screen has a minor shadowy defect (blurred color) on one side of the screen that was not revealed in its description. Other than these two items, the screen looks pretty good. I bought it strictly because it was a flat screen LCD by a reputable manufacturer and had good ratings. Also, the price was very reasonable which was a major factor. If there is a lesson to be learned, it is that one should read the descriptions VERY carefully and use other independent sources to find out absolutely everything you can about any item before bidding on it. The vast majority of folk on eBay seem to be very honest and forthcoming about the items they have up for bid.

The previous review by eBayer max2dog was dishonest at best. The monitor worked perfectly before I sent it to him, worked fine (it is sitting on my desk) after he returned it for a full refund. I did remove the stand for the monitor when I sent it to him and when I received it back, put the stand back on with the 4 screws that hold it on. So, he lied to me about the reason for returning it and should not be trusted to follow through on purchases.
