DEJAVU leaves you with a what if question to ponder. We are all aware of what the Government is capable of doing which makes it possible for us to indulge in this unrealistic thriller. Worth watching for the idea alone

When I sat down to watch this I have to admit I wasn't expecting to like it BUT I was very pleasantly surprised! The movie made unrealistic Futuristic Spying devices and events and made them appear possible and believable especially with the outstanding performance from Denzel Washington! Deja Vu eliminated all the fake scientific Hoopla and filler you typically get with time travel and made it like any other awesome detective movie just with some neat new toys!! Bravo to the movie, cast, talent and Storyline!! The Ending was a very nice suspenseful surprise! It's definetly worth a watch! Thanks for reading!

As With Most Time Travel Movies.... this one had a few rough edges.
Enough that Tina had trouble figuring out what/why some things were going on.
Additionally she hated it when the bass went boooom! every time the director wanted to let you know that a serious moment was happening. We sure didn't need that on a DVD at home! Maybe at a movie theater that would work, but it was an annoyance at home!
Denzel was great as usual, the plot was pretty good, although a little rough when using the time travel aspects.
The ending was pretty good, didn't leave us hanging.
Good for a rental movie, and maybe to be viewed twice to get it all!
The Bonus Feature deleted scenes were definitely scenes that should have been deleted!

All i can say is WOW! An amaazing thriller with twists and turns that you dont imagine coming! Denzel Washington at his best, and flawless acting. Such a realistic movie it is kinda scary! It will have you at the edge of your seat the entire movie, definatly one of the top 5 movies i have ever seen!

Upon watching this movie, I realize that the future of movies are becoming more and more complex. This was a great movie to help us understand which direction the future of the World is headed in. I explains enormous capabilities of humans, being able to look into the past, in its current state, while being in the future. It makes us wonder, if this type of technology is in the process of being developed, or has it already been developed but held in top secret by NASA. This movie is a must see!

This movie is one of those that is really good the first time and then EXCELLENT the second time. First Denzel is just awesome. Second, the first time you watch it you miss some things, but the movie is still great. The second time you watch it,you pick up the things you missed and the movie goes from great to EXCELLENT. Another suspense/crime movie not to miss.

What can I say? An absolutely superb motion picture!!! Great acting (Denzel Washington / Val Kilmer / Jim Caviezel) and amazing writing !!! Incredibly Creative, Dramatic, Mysterious, and Suspenseful... Without question, one of the best films I have seen in many, many years!!!
On a scale of 1 to 10, I'd give it an 11 !!!

Deja Vu
I thought it was fast paced, unique, and exciting.
The story is cool and different, the cast is incredible, and some of the action sequences are out of this world.
All in all it's definitely worth watching and maybe even buying if you're a Denzel fan.

Denzel Washington is at his best in Deja Vu. Denzel plays Doug Carlin who works for the Explosives, Tobacco, and Firearms division and gets wrapped up in preventing a terrorist attack that has already happened. This movie is similar to Minority Report in that the plot revolves around a government agent solving a crime before it happens with the aid of state of the art technology. Deja Vu is an excellent action movie with explosions, stakeouts, car chases, and shootouts. All these scenes are very well done and entertaining. Like any action/sci-fi movie, this one has holes if you look hard enough, but if you take it for what it is, you'll have yourself a really good time. To balance off the action, Washington adds plenty of comedic and romantic flair the the screen making this movie an easy choice for movie goers of any interest.

Great Movie!! I love Denzel Washington!! He always does a great job in his action movies! I was a little disappointed in the last 10 minutes of the movie and how it ended -- but then again I always tend to want a movie to have a happy ending.. The ending of this movie was unexpected for sure!!

This was an excellent movie. After watching, you can't help but think about it. I saw it about a week ago and I keep remembering small things in the movie that seemed insignificant at the time, but now looking back (and knowing the ending), every small "insignificant" detail fits snuggly into the story. Sorry I can't give details without ruining the movie for you. If you like Denzel (even just a little) you will love this flick.

Love it! I borrowed from a friend and knew that it was the kind of movie one could view over and over. It is a thriller..with romance..and makes traveling in time (past and future) seem so so realistic. Totally entertaining.

I had seen this is the theatre and it was entertaining enough to purchase. If you have always been a fan of Denzel Washington, you have probably also watched his classic movies like Crimson Tide, Remember The Titans, Training Day and Man On Fire. As always, Denzel Washington is always the hero in the movie. In my opinion, although his role in this movie is still quite “Denzel” style, but the storyline of this movie worth some stars. There is a phrase in this movie that impressed me a lot, which is, a patriot is always another country’s terrorist or something like that. Come to think about it, it is really true, isn’t it? Otherwise why would wars, bombings, happen everywhere?

Fast paced, suspenseful and so many twists and turns. You'll be sitting on the edge of your seat, wondering what's going to happen next! A Wonderful SciFi! But this is also one for people that don't particularly care for the more 'Techno-Scifi' stories. Hey with Denzel Washington and Jim Caviezel you can't go wrong. A MUST SEE!!!

Let me first start out by saying we have 2 copies of this movie. That is how much we enjoyed and still enjoy watching this movie. I can't even recall the last time I didn't really enjoy a movie starring Denzel Washington. In my personal opinion he has become one of the top 3 actors over the past few years. He brings so much energy and talent to the big screen each and every time. That's what makes us movie goers that much more into every suspenseful, action packed & tear jerking scene he's apart of. This movie in our opinion gets 5 stars across the board. From right after the opening credits the action starts immediately and doesn't end till the credits roll. Mix in some serious drama, a dab of comedy & romance with a star studded cast and you got your self the perfect recipe for a Blockbuster movie. So get your popcorn ready and lay back and enjoy the show. You will not be disappointed!!
