Degradation Trip- Wait, there's more...................

This is Jerry's second solo effort with his first being Boggy Depot(1998). Although it was released in 2002, I have finally got around to picking this album up, where have I been? This album rocks from beginning to end, very solid through and through. This was suppose to be a double album but the record company nixed the idea. In a compromise, there is a double disc version of this album now available. The double disc version was how Jerry intended for you to hear it, this double disc version is a bit tougher to find but it is out there. If you are a Cantrell fan, definately spend the few extra bucks and get the double disc version which contains 13 additional songs. There are not many albums I can listen to all the way through nowadays, but Jerry has two of them here.
This album is a bit darker and heavier than his first solo effort coming on the heels of Layne Staley's unfortunate passing. He shares some tales from the fringe.
Rock on Jerry.
