The Definitive Collection by ABBA (CD, Nov-2001, 2 Discs, UTV)

After dancing and singing along with the DVD "Mamma Mia", it was a must to purchase the CD. The music keeps my toes a-tappin', my heart and voice singing, and brings a huge smile to my face. Highly recommend this one! The music, the drums, the harmony, the innovation! Great!

If you liked the movie Mamma MIa, you will love this album of the original songs by the original artists/composers. Every Mamma Mia song is on here except My Last Summer. Plus many more you will enjoy. The very best of ABBA. Begins at their beginning and goes through their years together to their last song. You can really see the progression of maturity and the influence of the time in which each song was composed and recorded. The pamphlet give an interesting background on each song and what is going on in ABBA's life at the time.

This contains all the videos that ABBA made with their great hits during the decade of the 1970's. Great music and I enjoyed being able to actually watch them perform all their big hits. I really enjoy watching this video.

What is there not to like about these CDs ??? Abba was part of my teen years and their music was reborn in the Movie Mama Mia.

if your a fan, definititly worth it. I've other Abba Cds and find that even though there are some of the tracts duplicated on this one the additional, previously unheard ones on this makes it worth the buy!

I like ABBA and so this was at a very reasonable price. received in a very timely manner with NO discrpencies in product or packaging.

Poor recording. Does not sound like ABBA. Sounds like a cheap radio with the treble set at maximum. See internet reviews for more information.

I had many memories with songs of ABBA and up to now, its melody still looks new for me.The sound of this CD is beautiful. Especially, I can hear all my favorite songs by CD made in USA although with this amount, I can buy 5 CD made in china at vietnam but I don't like.Thank you very much.

love the cd and came new in package , double disc and full of hits. I like the way the cd has a list of all the songs listed on the back. Ithink the ebay auction was accurate on the details.

I loved the price on this CD which is like 2 CDS in 1! I recently watched Mamma Mia and loved it. I then wanted to have a copy of the original Abba version compared to the new version. I love Abba. If you like the music Mamma Mia or similar music to Abba, then you should buy this CD. It is such a great deal! There is nothing to loose.

The purchase was very easy and I fell safe buying from ebay.

This 2 cd collection has every single great song they ever sang so I just love it and can listen to it over & over because there are so many songs on here and you can never get tired of it. It just takes me back and away!!!

This is a very definitive collection of ABBA's greatest hits! After seeing "Mama Mia", I was inspired to buy some ABBA music, however I found that even the movie soundtrack excluded some of the songs from the movie. The "Gold" albums are ok, but this one has 37 songs which includes just about everything! Brings back memories from my high school days and my fun (but thankfully brief) disco dalliance. Who can resist belting out at least the chorus of "Waterloo"? And I think at least one of my kids will have to walk down the aisle to "I Do, I Do, I Do, I Do, I Do." "Dancing Queen" still holds up well and the original version of "SOS" just might help me forget Pierce Brosnan's rendition in the movie (oh so cute, but oh such a bad singer!). Old fans and new will be thrilled with this "bubble gum/Europop". Might have been nice had the lyrics been included, but there is a description of each song, when it debuted, whether or not it was released in the US, etc.

This is a CD with 15 songs and 2 bonus tracks. It is a great collection for any ABBA fan or music lover. It includes their super hits, Mamma Mia, Dancing Queen, Gimme!Gimme!Gimme!(A man after midnight) But also great songs not as well known as: Does your mother know, Fernando and lot’s of other great music. I did not grow up in their era, but love their music that I would describe as timeless and great.

I was some what hesitant to buy older songs that were not originally made on the CD format, and have been disappointed with some music that has been remastered. This album is very excellent, sound is as good or better than the original records. Iam very much pleased with the collection. I bought this CD for my wife, and would recommend it highly.

good songs and many songs from ABBA. I'm in the process of cleaning out 45's, lp', and cassettes. CD's take up less room.
