The CD That defined the 90's
Definitely Maybe was Liam and Noel Gallaghers first album, and what an Album it was. It was 1994 and rock and roll music was dying, grunge music had taken over and a depressed state had fell upon many people in the UK and all around the world, but something would change all that. Oasis changed the whole scene, Liam gallagher's voice overpowered everything in its way with him screaming out the vocals to tracks like "supersonic", "rock n' roll star", and the heartbreaking "live forever", quite possibly one of the greatest Oasis songs of all time. From the beginning he sang, "I need to be myself, I can't be no one else!" There is something so simple yet so complex about this CD it almost seems as if Noel and Liam had been doing this forever, it was like the CD was a greatest hits record when really it was a debute, this cd is still impacting people today and remains as concrete proof of Noel Gallaghers brilliance.
