This game is a ton of fun! There are lots of moves you can do and most of them aren't available on other fighting games. In all game modes the fighting is fun and the best part are the weapons! The weapons are fun and comical; good stuff. The soundtrack is top notch but that goes without saying. When you create your own fighter you have a lot more options and leeway than you do in other games.

I liked the game but when I got it it wouldnt work so I got another one from the seller and that one still wouldnt work. I went and got the game cleaned 5 times and it barely started working. Now I am going to buy games that are brand new and say that they are still wrapped and not open, also im not going to buy from the seller I bought the game from nomore.

Fight for NY continues the Def Jam series & gives your standard wrestling games a run for their money with it's trademark street style fighting mixed with wrestling. And you don't have to see grown men wearing spandex. Def Jam is also much faster paced than any other wrestling game out there & the finishing moves are amazing.

Verdict
Must play for any wrestling fan. Must have for any fan of fighting games.

Well I wanted the game but the seller sold the game and has mistakenly relisted the game but he refunded the money right back to me so all worked out though a little dissapointing.

The game is incredible it really captures what fighting is really all about with explosive moves and authentic scenarios this is truly a great game.

It's nice when a company has faith in it's unique franchises. And with a company as big as E.A., you would have faith too.

I'm talking about Def Jam: Fight for NY. Boasting some of the biggest names in both hip-hop fashion and talent (who lend their voices to the game) really adds to the authenticity of the culture the game portrays.

The fighting engine is easily compared to the classic wrestling titles on the N64. This is a good thing, as some will say these are some of the best games of the genre.

There are 5 fighting styles, which as you progress, allow mixing between them. With unlockable's including wrestlers, venues, and merchandise, there is plenty to keep you playing. Fans of fighters and hip-hop shouldn't miss this one.

I got this game and it was like new. No scratches, the case was like new with no damages at all. The booklet that came with it was like new and what all the seller said as far as the condition goes was all true.

I love the game wish they would make another one for xbox 360. i beat the game in 2 days but will play it over and over agin cuz theres always another way to play the game and coimplete it. also makes for a great game to play with your friends, wheather your all sitting around just hanging out or even having a few drinks it makes for hours of fun.

Entertaining and endless amounts of fun. One of the best arcade style fighting games whether you a fan of hip hop or not. If you enjoy fighting games this is a must have. There is some repetitiveness but what fighting game doesnt have that. This game is one for the ages

This game (apparently) is (THE) game for my kids! I decided to buy this game because thats all my boys talked about! They love the street brawling, and the sheer action of beening a fake street cop. My kids rate this as ONE of the best games ever played!!!!

I have loved this game more than any game on the xbox. I rented this game pretty much every week. I would have bought it in the stores but could never find it. This to me is the best fighting game ever made. The Def Jam Icon does not compare to it.

The multi-player part of the game is one of the best 'fight' games of all time! The single player is OK and has a good story line but the part I like most is the multi-player part. You and your friends get to fight each other all at once if desired and if needed you can team up against others, its fast and lots of different moves that just makes this game one of the best!

It is an awsome fighting game. Your fighters training is done with Henry Rollins. You must create your fighter and rise him up in the ranks to take back the fight clubs. Along the way, your gonna fight with ICE-T and Flava Flav and a host of others. I don't want to tell to much about the game, but this is a "MUST HAVE" fighting game for the older X-BOX system. It is also a game that I would not recommend to either the faint of heart that doesn't like blood or bones being snapped or to the youngsters that absorb what they see and hear. The graphics rock, plenty of fighting action - (Beer Bottles, sticks, pipes, chain link fences, DJ amps and jukeboxes) to throw your opponent into. This game is what the UFC Fights would be like in a club or on the streets not in a ring. In my opinion, This has to be one of the "BEST" fighting games for the X-BOX. This is also why it's hard to find and maybe somewhat expensive depending on where you look. If you get your hands on it, you will not be disappointed.

Packaging was excellent as was the Disc itself! Game was for adults,therefore there was no issue regarding the rating.

Great game for realving stress after a long day at work :) No matter how many times I beat this game I never get tired of playing it. I dont recomened it for children.

I love everything about this game. Buy name brand clothes, jewelry, get a tattoo or a haircut. The fighting is so fun. It is all ghetto. Buying the game would be the best idea.

If ya had a bad day and need to hit something play this, it helps. The fighting and brutal moves in this game are fun. You can even work with a friend to do more damage. Not recomended for children with bad tempers

Bought this as a gift for my chid for christmas, I can't seem to keep her off of it. she loves it. the game runs well and there has been no problems at all. thankyou very much. darlene.
