Treat Williams. Is the main character, a man without the girl, in the beginning of the film, by the end of the film, he has the girl. And the classic line, in this film is his trademark: "What Now?" Just before something bad happens.
Treat is a Soldier of Fortune, guns, ammo and an old PT Boat. Wired with modern technology, a friend runs the engines, and a chinese girl does all the dirty work, like keeping the ship afloat. He takes on a crew of mercs, who hire him to take them out into the middle of now where in the middle of the ocean. The mercs are hired to rob the passengers and sink the cruise ship. The entire plan goes awry when the cruise ship owner sabatoges his ship, and then finds out that even the ocean holds it own mysterious creatures of the deep. And this creature is hungry. As it takes on the ship, all the passengers are eaten alive, and all the good morsels are devoured while the person is still alive, and the skeletal remains are deposited outside the monster. The mercs are slowly being eaten one by one. There is shooting in every direction. And the monster survives. Finally it is down to the girl, treat and the cruise ship owner. When the monster reveals itself as a very large, very hungry thing. Treat gets the girl, they escape the cruise ship owner is alive long enough to meet his end, and the monster meets Treats justice. But our story doesn't end there. Sitting on a deserted island is Treat the girl, and his friend the mechanic who show up and as you faded away from the island you hear the famaliar roar of a monster, and Treats famous line-"What Now?"
A classic monster film, that will keep you glued to the screen, just like Halloween, to see what happens next.
