This starts quite interesting where a group of scientists are at a special isolated location in the middle of the ocean studying Sharks. When you start watching it will remind you a little bit of Jaws and quite a bit about the Abyss. They receive their funding from Corporate America and also have some fun while they work. The Corporate Executive arrives at their location to see how things are progressing and discuss the funding. The Scientists show him around and share the experiments they are performing on the shark brains.

During the visit, the Sharks are acting very aggressive and attack. They set off the alarms and the Sharks are getting more vicious and aggressive. They try to hid and the sharks find them. Getting more and more smarter. They are surrounded on this make shift Science Lab Island away from all civilization. There are some extremely gory parts in this movie - so be prepared.

This is a very good movie if you like scary movies, sharks are amazing and the movie is i loved it, i decided to buy it because i saw it before on tv and thought it be a nice dvd to have.

If you like shark movies this is the movie for you it is not only funny but lots of action too! The actors aren't that bad either. I personally like this movie.

i rented it in vhs but wanted too add it too my collection i thought it was awsome i like the action the actors my brother and family were intrested in the movie and my son and friends made a movie night from the movies and were really enjoyable with them

I love watching this with my friends. It isn't the most intelligent of movies but it is action packed and fun. If you need a movie to have a good time with, Deep Blue Sea is a great way to go.

The movie is great.....I seen this movie a while ago and love every moment of it. L.L Cool J. character added a cool flavor to the movie. Since I bought this movie last month, I've watched it about 4 times.

In the process of ridding myself of all my VHS tapes I came across this movie. Frankly, I had forgotten about it. It is a real sleeper. I think that it didn't get enough attention when it was first released. L.L. Cool J does a fantastic job as the ex-alcoholic cook that is really, really good and Saffron Barrows, well what can I say. The underwater sequences are pretty good and the sharks are really scary. Sci-Fi or action adventure. I think it is both. I recommend getting this movie you won't be disappointed.

MY HUSBAND AND I HAVE BEEN LOOKING FOR THIS MOVIE IN WALMART, BEST BUY, CIRCUIT CITY ECT.... AND NONE OF THEM SEEMED EVER TO HAVE IT. SOMETHING TOLD ME TO LOOK ON EBAY AND LOW AND BEHOLD IT WAS RIGHT THERE!!!**** I JUST LOVE EBAY AND IT'S ALWAYS WHEN I CAN'T FIND SOMETHING ANYWHERE ELSE I LOOK ON EBAY AND IT'S THERE I WISH YOU GUYS HAD A STORE SOMEWHERE THAT I COULD ACTUALLY WALK INTO BUT YOU KNOW THAT WOULD BE TO GOOD TO BE TRUE. THE PERSON THAT PUT THIS MOVIE UP FOR BIDDING WAS GREAT I PAID FOR IT ON A FRIDAY AND RECEIVED IT THAT MONDAY. THAT WAS EXTREMELY FAST.. I WILL CONTINUE TO USE THIS AS MUCH AS I POSSIBLY CAN. Similar to the terror of the sea with the JAWS series. With the upgrades of CGI, modern technology and a plot where sharks are developing human inteligence man is at the bottom of the food chain.

I bought this movie as an early mother's day gift for my mom. Since I bought it she watches it atleast 3 times a day. I also watch the movie with her because it is a great movie. She absolutely loves the movie and thanks me repeatedly for buying it.

I saw this movie a long time ago and tried to rent it from blockbuster but was unsucessful. So i just decided to buy it and it was a good decision. I watch it all the time!!!

This is so well made I was TERRIFIED .......... in the category of JAWS in my opinion. This is SOOOOOOOOO REAL I was short of breath! The action, phoography, and everything was TOPS!

I love LL COOL J. But a dr is experimenting on sharks. She speeds up the experiment for more funding. The shark gets smart and start killing. Very action packed.

I not really sure why I like this movie but I keep watching it. I think the action is good and the super enhanced sharks are after the research group.

I had no problems trying to watch this movie and it was great. it was a great movie and i hope to find more like it. i loved the condition it was in. i bough this movie because i had not seen it since it came out.

I rented dvd, and wanted a copy for home collection.Liked it to be shipped faster, but they had family emer.,so I totally understand.I just had baby.

This movie was well cast. It has a little bit of comedy, a lot of action/drama and NO SEX!
The scientists realize that something has gone wrong when they notice the sharks they are working on to discover a cure for alzheimer's disease seem to be getting smarter and doing things that sharks do not normally do, for instance--the sharks swim backwards because they recognize the harpoon gun that one scientist is swimming with through a caged tunnel; the sharks take out the video cameras.
This is just a really good movie and it proves that a movie does NOT need to have love scenes or intimate scenes to be good.
