Donna Dewberry has, once again, made it simple and easy to create beautiful works of art. But, this time she has gone a step further and shows you how to paint on your walls! This book is very informative with awesome instructions, gorgeous up close illustrations and "how to's." It has paint color choices, step by step instructions with pictures! The murals are all different and I love the choices for the different rooms in your home. I love it! It was very helpful to me when I ran out of things to paint and starting painting on my walls with Donna's beautiful mural choices and designs. The only thing I didn't like about it was the spine. When I was painting is was hard to keep the book open. Maybe she'll come out with a spiral spine for easy viewing while painting. Overall, I give this book an excellent rating. Donna Dewbery is an awesome instructor and so is this book....you can't go wrong buying it. Happy Painting!

If you don't have this book by Donna Dewberry, I highly recommend that you add it to your collection. The murals can be used on walls as well as canvas, tables, etc.

I love everything in this book, It has various ideas for all your home rooms
kitchen, hallways, bedrooms etc. I decided to buy it for the special vine
ideas for the kitchen. Its an excellent book from Donna. I've been taking the
One Stroke Classes & I'm now a One Stroke Painter and I love it. I'm purchases
as much as I can in regards to One Stroke Painting by Donna Dewberry.

All right. I own and have many of Donna's books. If you have read any of my reviews, you know this. I read them, play with them, and am inspired by them. So what to say about this?
Well, to start, Donna takes us off the easel and throws us out into the world of walls, ceilings and ad infinitum. Since reading this book I look at walls so differently and think to myself, "Hmmmm...maybe a trellis and some wild roses..."
It also woke up my sense of expansiveness with the technique(or any other, for that matter) that I think bigger with my projects than ever before.

Love the photos, detail list of colors and brushes to use. I was disappointed that she didn't go into more detail of how to layer items in the murals. Nice, heavy paper used in this large colorful book.

instructional book on mural paintingthe book is very informative if you are not used to painting traditional flowery murals, however as a painter of murals that are a bit trendier I found it pretty useless.

I bought this book to get some ideas to "spruce" up my walls.
I like that it is seems easy to follow and the illustrations are very descriptive. Can't wait to try some of the ideas :o)
