I bought it because I cursed myself, why didn't I write a cookbook based on something I clearly did not invent nor should I take credit for and then depend on my ginormous tv start husband to promote it for me. I'm sorry, I've been putting sweet potatoes in my nephews' pancakes since Thanksgiving 1492. You know when you make 16 sweet potato pies and you've got like 2 qts of puree left, it doesn't take Jerry Seinfeld to figure out where you can put it - I also put it in gingerbread cake, carrot cake instead of butter and there's the ever-popular idea of stuffing french toast with brussel sprouts - ha just kidding, just wanted to see if you read this far. No kidding, this book has been done before. Anyone who has been around kids, cooked for kids or been a kid has done all of this stuff before. Oh and by the way, here's the thought I came up with when I went to babysit my nephews and nieces, I just make the veggies and make them eat them, no negotiating. Why would you spend your time negotiating with a kid? Boy, does that teach them about the real world?? Yeah. Review ID: 10000000004616042 Was this review helpful?
