Deathrow: Underground Team Combat (Xbox, 2002)

The first thing you will notice is the graphics aren't up to par with typical xbox games. The game play is fun but can get repetive. I bought this game used and don't regret it.

This is easily one of the greatest xbox games that nobody has heard of. This game is a combination of hockey and ultimate frisbee with fighting and even "killing" thrown in. With the teams to choose from, players to train, Each team playing very differently from the others, and having to consider the team you're playing, this game will keep you entertained and playing for quite some time.

This is one of those lesser-known xbox titles that's a ton of fun. It's fairly simple gameplay - but really addictive. Also great to play with up to 4 players. AWESOME! LOVE IT

I loved this game when it came out for the regular xbox. I searched everywhere and couldnt find it until I came to ebay. If you like action/sport based video games with futuristic concepts then you wont be disappointed. In all this game is a must have for any die hard gamer.

at 1st i thought this game was pathetic....... after playing for 1 hour i can't stop playing it at all..... i have played for 8 hours straight ! ! !

If you are a gamer, and have an xbox, get this game. It is one of the best titles out for xbox. I bought it after reading an unusually high-scoring review on IGN. It may be old but it is certainly a great game that will have you playing it over and over. It's like ultimate frisbee meets basketball, or soccer. The game itself is "Blitz," but you can charge up the disc and throw it, taking out whomever it hits - this is a "Deathrow." Don't be mistaken but the title or the premise, this game is absolutely great and has astonishing replay value. The multiplayer ability will have you and your buds playing for months. The only bad thing is no XBL, which would certainly have made this rival any title on xbox. As for gameplay, the camera can be kinda crappy, but i would say the controls could have been executed better. Not too much to complain about, the only drawback is no Live. Brilliant.

I bought Deathrow on a whim because it was a cheaper new game in late 2002. My brothers were hooked as quickly as I was. Although I am at most a casual gamer, I played it more than any other XBOX title. I recently introduced it to a newer generation of gamers, and they fell for it immediately. Many of them bought a copy to see how it works on their 360's. This is an awesome, dirt cheap game.
